Cybersecurity SOC Manager (VP), Financial Services
Our client is a financial services organisation that plays a critical role in supporting secure and reliable transaction infrastructure. They are seeking a Cybersecurity SOC Manager (VP) to oversee 24×7 security monitoring, incident response, threat management, and SOC capability uplift across a highly regulated technology environment.
Role
You will lead a SOC team responsible for continuous security event monitoring, incident escalation, investigation, and reporting. This role will involve managing team resources, strengthening monitoring processes, maintaining and enhancing SIEM capabilities, fine-tuning detection rules, and driving automation to improve triage and response. You will also lead threat hunting, forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting to management, while managing projects that improve SOC maturity and operational resilience.
Keperluan
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years’ experience in SOC, CERT, or CIRT environments, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SIEM/SOAR operations, incident response, threat monitoring, forensic investigations, and cyber defence tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks such as the Cybersecurity Act, CCoP, MAS Cyber Hygiene Notice, TRM Guidelines, OWASP Top 10, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and DevSecOps.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
