AI Engineering Lead

We are seeking an AI Engineering Lead for a Corporate Innovation Lab to drive the development of their AI experimentation platform and accelerate the delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions across the organisation.

This is a pivotal leadership role focused on building scalable AI capabilities, translating research into real-world impact, and positioning the organisation as an industry leader in AI-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

As the AI Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technology leadership of the Lab. This includes owning the development and operation of the platform that enables internal teams and external partners to safely experiment with and scale AI solutions. You will continuously enhance the platform in line with user needs and emerging technologies, while providing hands-on technical enablement to teams under incubation.

In addition, you will lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Your strong track record of delivering AI solutions from experimentation through to production will be highly sought after. You bring deep hands-on technical expertise across AI/ML frameworks, programming languages such as Python, modern cloud platforms, and MLOps/LLMOps and DevOps practices.

You will have demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technical teams, along with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to influence across senior business and technology audiences.
