AI Researcher, Bioinformatics

We are seeking an AI Researcher to join a leading industrial research lab focused on developing AI-driven solutions for real-world manufacturing and biotechnology challenges. In this role, you will apply data analytics and machine learning techniques to optimize production processes using complex datasets. The ideal candidate will have strong computational and analytical skills, experience with bioinformatics, and a passion for advancing AI applications in industrial domains.

Responsibilities:

As an AI Researcher, you will be responsible for managing large-scale analytical datasets, developing statistical and machine learning models, and implementing AI algorithms to solve optimization problems in production. You will write scalable and reproducible code in languages such as Python, R, and Java, and utilize AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. Key focus areas include supervised and unsupervised learning, sampling algorithms, deep learning, and optimization techniques. You will be expected to summarize findings in technical reports, contribute to scientific publications and patents, and actively participate in seminars and research meetings with internal and external collaborators.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should hold a PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. You must be proficient in coding and scripting using multiple languages (e.g., Python, R, Java, Bash) and have practical knowledge of AI back-end frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience in bioinformatics is strongly preferred.
