AVP – Treasury (Asset Management)
Our client, a leading asset management firm, is seeking a Treasury Manager to support daily treasury operations and special projects.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing short-term investments, cash flow forecasting, and optimizing liquidity and borrowing strategies across the group.Key responsibilities include overseeing daily cash and debt positions, investing in money market instruments, managing bank relationships, and ensuring cash needs are met through effective forecasting. The role also covers intercompany cash pooling and preparing internal billings. In addition, the Treasury Manager will support audits, risk controls, and provide insights through market analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting-ideally within financial services or asset management. A CPA or CFA is preferred. Strong analytical skills, working knowledge of financial markets and instruments, and proficiency in treasury systems and Excel are essential.
