Chief Risk Officer (Singapore-based)

A premier financial institution with a strong regional presence and ambitious growth plans is looking to appoint a highly capable Chief Risk Officer.

Responsibilities

As the key risk leader, you will be responsible for the management of various risk types including credit, market, operational, regulatory and cyber risks. You will advise senior management and business leadership team on optimal business portfolio aligning to risk appetite of the bank and growth strategy. You will keep abreast with industry and regulatory standards and continuously develop a robust and progressive risk management framework, policies and practices. You will ensure proactive identification, assessment, mitigation and resolution of risks. You will ensure the bank’s long-term financial stability and regulatory compliance while supporting its growth strategy.

Requirements

You possess a proven track record as a Chief Risk Officer in a major bank. Candidates with strong experience in credit risk gained in major banks, or risk consulting in Big 4 who wish to progress to CRO role can also apply. Experience in corporate and institutional banking, commercial and business banking, and / or global markets, will be advantageous. You are highly credible, analytical, solutions-focused, logical thinker and calm under pressure. You operate with high integrity and possess strong leadership, management and people skills.
