Commercial Director (Life Sciences / Medical Devices)

Our client is a well-established Singapore based distributor with over 40 years of history in distributing a large range of medical and laboratory products across general equipment, lab consumables, diagnostics, and medical devices. Over the years, the business has transformed according to market demands and expanded to SEA markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar. They also have a growing size of over 200 employees across the subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
Working with the Group CEO and Corporate Strategy Director, you will hold a strategic leadership role in the organization to manage and achieve effective revenue growth across all the business lines (General Laboratory, Life Sciences, Nuclear Medicine, Medical Devices). You will be leveraging on Data Analytics such as analysis and interpretation of sales data to derive business decisions and develop commercial strategies to achieve business goals. You will also lead, mentor, and develop the Commercial team, and foster a results-oriented and collaborative culture. You will focus largely on the Singapore market, with opportunities to oversee the other SEA businesses.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with at least 10 years of Commercial experience (Sales / Marketing) in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Biotechnology and/or Medical Device sectors. Having worked in a Distributor environment will be an advantage. You will need to have proven experience in a Sales Leadership role, while being able to adopt a data-driven approach in deriving strategic decisions from data analytics.
