Contracts Specialist (Metals)

Our client is a global leading European-headquartered commodity trading firm with diversified portfolio across the globe. A newly created Contracts Specialist role has been opened to join them in their Singapore office to focus on their APAC Metals desk.

The successful candidate will travel and be based in their HQ office for the first 2 months for training and orientation with the global contract team after onboarding.

Job Description
As part of the global team, you will be working in a team of Contracts Specialist based across all offices to manage the full suite of contracts management work, including drafting, reviewing and advising on trading and transactional contracts and managing the commercial aspects of contracts. This key function will act as gatekeepers to the business and will work closely with legal and commercial business partners to drive contract negotiations and advise on any contractual pit falls and risks to the business, ensuring the achievement of yearly KPIs are aligned with business objectives for compliance, timeline deliverables and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications
You have at least 5 years of relevant contract management experience in a multinational company. Candidates with paralegal/ legal support experience are welcome to apply. You are a proactive and meticulous individual with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, you thrive in a fast-paced environment in meeting challenging deadlines and navigating complex issues.
