The Data & AI Lead will drive digital transformation within the private banking division, aligning AI and data strategies with business goals. This senior position focuses on leveraging AI, machine learning, and data analytics to enhance client experiences, optimize operations, and support growth. The ideal candidate will blend technical AI expertise with a deep understanding of private banking, delivering innovative solutions that create business value and differentiate the bank in a competitive market.

Responsibilities:
The Data & AI Lead will develop and execute AI strategies tailored to private banking, improving wealth management, client personalization, and operational efficiency. They will create data models and AI tools to optimize decision-making, risk management, and profitability. The role involves ensuring AI solutions are integrated smoothly into banking systems, enhancing client services and back-office operations. The Lead will collaborate with senior leadership and relationship managers to ensure AI projects align with the bank’s strategic objectives, delivering measurable outcomes. Additionally, they will mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, staying ahead of AI trends to maintain the bank’s competitive edge.

Requirements:
With 7+ years of experience in data science or AI, ideally within private banking, the candidate must be skilled in AI models (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, reinforcement learning) and familiar with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Proficiency in Python, R, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential. The ability to translate complex AI concepts into business solutions that improve client experiences and drive revenue is key. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and an understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II) are required. A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
