Deputy Director, HRIS and Workforce Planning & Policy

We are working on an excellent opportunity for a driven HR professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic and mission-driven organization. This is a people manager role, responsible for leading and developing a team of HR professionals while driving the development and management of HR systems, processes, and policies. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
You will bring deep expertise in HR technology, with a strong track record in leading enterprise-wide HRIS initiatives. A key focus of this role will be managing and enhancing the organisation’s SAP SuccessFactors system, which was implemented last year. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of post-implementation enhancements, resolve ongoing teething issues, and lead continuous improvements across key modules such as Performance and Goal Management, Compensation and Benefits, Manpower Allocation, and Onboarding and Offboarding. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the system meets business needs, improves efficiency, and delivers a user-friendly experience for employees and managers alike.
Beyond system management, this position plays a strategic role in shaping the organisation’s workforce planning and policy framework. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust workforce planning processes that align talent needs with long-term organisational goals. This includes building data models and reporting tools to provide timely and actionable workforce insights. You will also lead the review and development of HR processes and policies, ensuring they are consistent, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards and best practices.
As a people manager, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. You will also work cross-functionally with various departments to deliver HR initiatives and projects on time and within scope. Experience in managing complex, cross-functional HR projects will be highly valuable in this role. While the primary focus is on HRIS, workforce planning, and policies, prior experience in an HR Business Partnering capacity would be an advantage. Such experience would help in aligning systems and processes more closely with evolving organisational needs and in engaging senior stakeholders with greater strategic insight.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to HRIS management and workforce planning. Direct hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors is essential, particularly in leading post-implementation enhancements and supporting user adoption across multiple modules.
You should be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of how technology and data can drive better HR decision-making. If you have experience in developing HR dashboards, streamlining HR processes and possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, we encourage you to apply.
