DFIR Engineer, Financial Services

Kerry Consulting is currently hiring a DFIR Engineer for a Financial Services firm.

As a DFIR Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to security incidents, investigating security breaches, and conducting forensic analysis of compromised systems to identify the root cause, impact, and resolution strategies. You will work closely with the SOC, Threat Hunting, and IT teams to ensure that all incidents are properly identified, contained, investigated, and mitigated.

Requirements:

• Minimally 3 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity operations.
• Hands-on experience with incident detection, analysis, and response in a complex IT environment.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and file systems, network protocols, and web applications.
• Proficiency in analyzing network traffic, log files, and system memory to detect malicious activity.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
