Director, Head of Data & Insights- Retail/Ecommerce

This well-funded organization is well-positioned to achieve its growth plans for the region. It is committed in its digital strategy and has created various new positions in line with that vision.
In view of that, they are looking for a Head of Data Analytics with the aim to become a data-driven intelligent enterprise.
Responsibilities
This is a newly created role where the candidate will lead a team of professionals to plan, deploy and support reporting and KPI dashboards, and operationalize data analytics insights across all levels of the firm. The role is not only responsible for gaining insights operation efficiency but also utilise data to help business create targeted and measurable campaigns.
You are also responsible for building a high-performance data analytics team which is an integral part of the entire organization as it is directly relevant to the business’ market penetration.
As the key data leader, you are also expected to represent the company in external forums or technical conferences to push the data agenda forward.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should come with at least 10 – 15 years data analytics/customer insight experience with exposure in the Retail industry. The candidate is also expected a technical slant where he or she is expected to have prior hands-on experience in data technologies/ business intelligence tools such as Tableau, R, Business Objects, SQL etc.
