Our client is an established and listed company in the financial services industry, seeking an experienced and influential Director of Human Capital Planning to lead a team and manage this new function.
Position Overview
As the Director of Human Capital Planning, you must be conversant in headcount forecasting, workforce optimization, and budget management for human capital. You will develop and implement strategic workforce planning practices across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and future workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to HR Leadership, you will be responsible for leading and being the authority on all human capital planning initiatives across the organization. You will spearhead initiatives to enhance workforce planning processes, ensuring they are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Provide strategic advisory services to HR leadership on human capital planning and workforce optimization.
- Lead the development and implementation of data-driven workforce planning models, utilizing advanced analytics and predictive modeling to anticipate future workforce needs.
- Collaborate closely with various Centers of Excellence (COEs), especially the Talent Acquisition function, to align hiring plans with workforce forecasts and business demands.
- Develop and manage headcount plans and human capital budgets across global operations, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business strategies.
- Drive the adoption of technology and tools that enhance workforce planning capabilities, including workforce management systems and data analytics platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on human capital management, workforce planning, and HR analytics.
- Proven track record in leading HR projects and utilizing predictive modeling for strategic workforce decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading change management initiatives within a complex, global organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes at senior leadership levels.
