Director, Project Finance – Major Financial Institution

Project finance is a thriving business division for our client, a major financial institution with a strong presence and footprint in Asia. They are looking to hire an experienced team member, to be based in Singapore.

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Project Finance, you will work closely with the team on lending transactions and financial advisory activities. As an experienced member of the team, you will guide a team of junior project finance specialists and lead advisory mandates and execution of lending transactions. You are well versed with project finance transactions, including financial modelling, credit analysis, due diligence process, deal-structuring, loan documentation negotiation, contract review, financial term sheets and are able to lead transactions from start to completion.

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate has 10 – 15 years of project finance experience and a successful track record of executing and successfully completing financial advisory transactions in Asia, particularly, SEA and South Asia. You have extensive experience in power, energy transactions and some exposure to infrastructure. Familiarity with advisory and lending process in banks and ECA/multilateral backed financing is essential. You  are able to work independently, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.  Your strong network with project finance financiers and sponsors in Asia is an advantage.
