Finance Director, APAC
Our client, one of the region’s fastest growing and most exciting consumer groups, is seeking a dynamic Finance Director, APAC. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a rapidly expanding business while leading a high-performing finance team across the APAC region.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the APAC CFO, and working alongside Regional and Market Leaders, the APAC Finance Director is a key member of a fast-paced, high-impact leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in driving exceptional results for the APAC P&L and Cash Flow, collaborating with regional and market leaders as well as cross-functional teams. This dynamic position requires a strong partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain/Operations teams to manage all aspects of the P&L, including in-depth analysis of Go-to-Market strategies, margin and profitability across categories and channels, and leading the Annual Budgeting and Monthly Forecasting processes. The role will also focus on improving Cash Flow and Working Capital in close coordination with Local Markets and Corporate Finance. Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to drive business success are essential to thriving in this role.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be an exceptional finance leader with at least 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally within dynamic industries such as Consumer Goods, FMCG, or Retail. You will excel at managing both regional and local operations in a multinational environment, combining strong business acumen with financial expertise. A proven track record in driving growth, improving profitability, and managing regional forecasts and risks is essential. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively collaborate with senior leadership, manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment, and simplify complex financial insights for diverse, cross-functional teams. Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams across geographies is critical, as is a hands-on, adaptable leadership style. Additionally, advanced Excel/Office skills and proficiency in business analytics tools like Power BI are vital for success in this role.
