Job Description:
The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Transformation Manager to lead their efforts in redefining and optimizing financial processes and systems. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and insight across the finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the organization’s financial operations.
As the Finance Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end transformation projects. This will involve conceptualizing and implementing process improvements, automation, and system upgrades. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute transformation roadmaps that are aligned with both business objectives and financial goals.
A key aspect of the role is optimizing financial processes to enhance controls and improve reporting capabilities, supporting informed decision-making. You will also oversee the selection, customization, and implementation of financial systems. In addition to these tasks, you will lead change management efforts, ensuring the successful communication of transformation initiatives, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and driving adoption of new processes and systems.
You will also be responsible for establishing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of transformation efforts, driving continuous improvement, and fostering operational excellence within the finance function. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in finance transformation and technology will also be a key part of the role, ensuring that relevant advancements are incorporated into the organization’s strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. You should have at least 15 years of proven experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or management consulting within the financial services sector.
A deep understanding of financial systems is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to translate complex data into actionable insights. You must also have experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and within budget.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will need to present complex information to various audiences.
