A leading digital bank at the forefront of fintech innovation is looking to expand its legal team with the hire of a Payments / Financial Regulatory Lawyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial products and contribute to the growth of a fast-moving, tech-forward business.
This role would suit a lawyer with strong regulatory expertise who is looking to move in-house to further develop their career within a dynamic and collaborative environment. This legal role offers the opportunity to contribute to product development and help shape the Group’s regulatory strategy. You’ll be part of an innovative, inclusive, and fast-paced work environment that values collaboration and forward thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice on financial regulatory and payments frameworks
- Partner with internal teams to support new product launches and on licensing and compliance matters.
- Track and interpret regulatory developments across key markets
- Provide day-to-day legal guidance to support strategic business objectives
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-6 years’ PQE, with experience in financial regulation and payments law
- Background from a top-tier law firm or in-house (fintech, payments, or financial services)
- Solid understanding of digital banking, embedded finance, and cross-border issues
- Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder management skills
