Company Description:

This is a renowned energy trading company operating globally with significant partnership with refiners, shipping companies, end-users, and other product-trading companies. There is now an exciting opportunity for a Gasoline Operator to join a high performing team.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Gasoline Operator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of physical products based on supply and demand plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. This includes liaison with ship-owners/ brokers for ship availability and shipping freight for products. Activities will be done in close tandem with traders and charterers, providing effective operations support.

The Gasoline Operator will also be responsible for overseeing inventory optimisation, understand and proactively manage demurrage risks and generate forecast/ schedule reports for the wider operations department.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should ideally be a bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant operations experience in Gasoline. Candidates with strong expertise in marine chartering, product specifications and grades, and freight operations will be considered favourably. You will also be described as detail-oriented, resourceful, and methodical.
