My client is a technology company that offers sustainability solutions in terms of energy and transport that is face exponential growth in the region. The company is looking for a General Counsel to help scale their business and assist in delivering world-class business functions to their clients.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including IP, M&A, employment, compliance, listing regulations, etc.

You will also have to manage senior stakeholders and provide strategic and practical legal advice and solutions aligned with business considerations and objectives. This is a rare opportunity for senior lawyers to handle sustainability and energy solutions with great visibility to senior regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

You should hold a Bachelor of Law and be qualified in a commonwealth jurisdiction, with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience. Relevant experience in transport is preferred but not required. Relevant experience in M&A and IP is preferred.

You should be a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous individual with strong time management and problem-solving skills. You should have excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with regional stakeholders and merchants from various cultures.
