Global Head of Compliance

Description

This premier global corporate services company is a market leader in its field. It is now recruiting Global Head of Compliance for its growing business. The role can be based either in Singapore, Hong Kong or London.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Global General Counsel, you will lead global compliance teams across Asia, Europe and the Americas.  You will set compliance policies and standards on how the business will operate in each market, driving consistency to global practices and also relevance for the business to remain competitive. You will provide strategic direction, drive practices to global standards, and act as a point of technical compliance delivery (across regulatory compliance, financial crime, AML, licensing) for all business operations. You will develop internal relationships with the business to drive growth while complying with the applicable regulations, and forge strong contacts with external third parties, including relevant regulatory bodies. You will be member of various committees including Group Risk Committee, Company Formation Risk Committee and Group Information Security Committee

Requirements

Degree qualified, you are a highly experienced compliance leader with proven track record in leading either regional (if not global) compliance team gained at global banks or financial institutions. With strong stakeholder management experience (at board, shareholder and senior management levels), you possess breadth of compliance experience across jurisdictions and compliance domains (including regulatory, financial crime etc). With strong gravitas, you are highly credible, advisory-focused, pragmatic, proactive, a problem solver and collaborative. You are balanced in your approach, driven, assertive and remain calm under pressure.
