Our client is actively hiring a senior Data Protection Officer who will be responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s privacy program and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively engage with senior management, possess strong data governance knowledge, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the region. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, or a related field (with certifications in data protection and cybersecurity being a plus), with no less than 10 years of proven experience in data governance and privacy compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential, along with a keen attention to detail and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
