Head of Architecture and Integration

About the Role 

This senior leadership position will head the enterprise architecture and technology integration strategies across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. As part of the Group IT function, the Head of Architecture is responsible for shaping regional IT architecture vision, modernizing technology platforms, and partnering with senior business leaders to drive digital transformation and operational excellence. The role oversees cross-border teams and platforms supporting API management, identity and access, DevSecOps, and integration services.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include defining and governing enterprise architecture aligned with business goals, promoting secure and scalable system designs, and managing platform lifecycles such as API gateways and IAM tools. The role also leads integration strategies for cloud-native and microservices environments, ensures vendor compliance, and drives innovation and automation. A strong focus is placed on business technology partnership—especially in Indonesia—translating business needs into technical solutions and supporting local delivery teams. Additionally, the leader manages a team of around 100 professionals across three countries, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Key Requirements

Candidates should have over 15 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and IT-business partnership roles, preferably within regulated industries like insurance or banking. A strong grasp of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Gartner EA), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and modern integration technologies is essential. Proven leadership in cross-functional, regional teams and stakeholder management is required. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory, with deep knowledge of regulatory compliance across MAS, BNM, and OJK. Experience in financial services and regional workforce dynamics is highly valued.
