Head of Core Insurance Systems

Our client, a leading life insurance provider, is looking for an experienced professional to join as the Head of Core Life Insurance Systems. This role offers an opportunity to drive technological innovation and enhance customer experiences within a forward-thinking organization.

Responsibilities:

As Head of Core Life Insurance Systems, you will oversee the strategy, development, and management of our core insurance systems. You will lead the development and maintenance of core life insurance systems, developing and executing a strategic roadmap for system enhancements. Collaborating with IT, Operations, Underwriting, and Claims teams, you will ensure system performance, reliability, and security.

Managing a team of analysts, developers, and project managers, you will stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations. You will drive continuous improvement to enhance customer experiences and manage external vendors and partners, ensuring service levels.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have 10+ years of experience managing core systems in life insurance. In depth knowledge of Life/Asia applications is very much preferred. You have proven track record in system implementation and transformation, and strong knowledge of life insurance products, systems, and regulations. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
