With a commitment to excellence and sustainability, they provide reliable transportation solutions for various bulk commodities across global markets. Due to business re-organisation, there is now a need to hire a season and highly experienced Head of Dry Bulk Shipping to lead their operations and drive strategic initiatives.

Role
As the Head of Dry Bulk Shipping, he/ she will oversee all aspects of dry bulk shipping operations, including fleet management, chartering, logistics, and customer relations. The Head will also play a pertinent role in shaping the shipping team’s strategic direction, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. He/ she will also be expected to stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, competitive landscape to enable strategic-decision making.
Leading and managing a team of high performing managers and professionals in shipping, the head will look to foster a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum 15 years’ experience in dry bulk shipping, and a proven track record in a senior management role. You will be described as possessing superior knowledge of shipping regulations, operations and logistics. You are a proven leader with track record of leading highly successful shipping teams.
