      Our client is an established Singapore headquartered organization and is looking for a Head of Industrial Relations. Reporting to the Vice-President of Human Resources, the Head of Industrial Relations will be responsible for leading the company’s union relations strategy, overseeing negotiations, and maintaining positive labor-management relations.

      Responsibilities
      This role involves managing collective agreements with multiple unions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving initiatives that promote workforce harmony and operational efficiency. A key aspect of the role includes leading collective bargaining discussions, addressing grievances, and advising senior management on industrial relations policies that support long-term business sustainability. The incumbent will also be expected to anticipate and mitigate labor-related risks while implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.

      Requirements
      The ideal candidate will have 12 to 15 years of experience in industrial relations, with a strong understanding of union engagement, collective bargaining, and labor law compliance. Prior experience working in a unionized environment is essential, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. The role requires excellent negotiation skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate complex industrial relations challenges while balancing workforce and business interests.
