Head of IT Audit

Our client is an established MNC, with significant operations in Singapore. As the Internal Audit function is (fairly) newly set up, there is an opportunity to appoint a Head of IT Audit, to lead the IT Audit vertical from ground up.

Responsibilities

As an integral member of the Internal Audit team, you will review the needs of the business and help establish an effective IT Audit function. You will leverage your advanced IT knowledge to lead the Technology Audits in order to provide the assurance over key IT and data related processes and systems. This will include assessing potential risks and threats, reviewing the cybersecurity framework as well as IT transformation projects that the organisation undertakes. Additionally, you can also expect to define and implement Data Analytics (DA) strategy and manage the DA capabilities within the IA function.

Requirements

Ideally, you are degree qualified with relevant professional qualifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM etc. You have strong business acumen and effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Strong knowledge of IT governance and control frameworks coupled with a repertoire of pragmatic applications knowledge is extremely important in this role. As this is somewhat of a pioneering function, you are comfortable in an individual contributor role and enjoy the empowerment of building something from ground up.
