Head of Prime Brokerage Operations

We are working with a leading global investment bank to identify a highly experienced and strategic leader to assume the role of Head of Prime Brokerage Operations.

Responsibilities

This is a critical and high-profile appointment, positioned at the core of the firm’s global markets infrastructure. The role will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities supporting the Prime Brokerage business, spanning equities, fixed income financing, and synthetic products. The successful candidate will be expected to shape and execute a forward-looking operational strategy that supports business growth, strengthens risk and control frameworks, and enhances client service delivery across multiple jurisdictions.

Working closely with senior leaders across the front office, risk, compliance, technology, and legal teams, the individual will be responsible for managing a global team and ensuring the function operates with precision, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of experience in Capital Markets or Prime Brokerage Operations, with deep front-to-back process expertise and a strong understanding of margin, synthetic financing, and trade lifecycle management. They will have a proven track record of leading global teams, driving large-scale transformation and technology initiatives, and managing operational risk in highly regulated environments. Strong regulatory knowledge, executive-level communication skills, and experience engaging with both internal stakeholders and external regulators are essential.
