Our client is an established organization, headquartered in Singapore. As a result of a dynamic external environment and evolving business needs, there is now an opportunity for a progressive Head of Procurement/Supply Chain professional to join them.
Role
You will manage a team and lead the procurement (direct and indirect) function across Singapore and operating markets. This includes the establishment and continuous review of overall procurement strategy, ensuring an excellent regional sourcing network/supplier management, establishment and compliance with (revised and improved) group procurement policies that are relevant to the business today, with the ultimate aim of identifying and optimizing cost-saving opportunities, without compromising on quality and service deliveries.
Requirements
Ideally, you are a seasoned professional in procurement, with a minimum of 15 years relevant direct and indirect sourcing experience, ideally gained from progressive organisations and/or in companies with best-in-class procurement function. You have a proven ability to lead a team (both direct and remote). You are a strong collaborator and work well in a highly fast paced and lean organization.
