Human Resources Director, Renewable Energy (Contract to Perm)

Our client is a new engineering venture headquartered in Singapore with expanding regional presence, backed by a well established group in the renewable energy sector. It is now moving into an exciting next phase of scaling up its business with plans to pursue an IPO. There is therefore now a rare opportunity for dynamic Human Resources leader to join the company to set up and lead the Human Resources function, on a contract to permanent basis.
Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to journey with a fast growing business, directly reporting to the CEO where you will design, develop and execute the company’s HR strategy and HR operations, including recruitment, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, HRIS, employee engagement and relations, and culture. You will drive HR operational excellence and provide commercial HR solutions, partnering the business leaders in achieving the company’s growth agenda. You will also be instrumental in preparing the company for IPO from the HR perspective.
Requirements
You are a degree qualified dynamic human resources leader with track record setting up and leading successful HR functions, gained in engineering or industrial sectors. Experience in the energy infrastructure sectors will be advantageous. You have prior experience in IPO preparation or listed companies with a deep appreciation of the requirements for companies going public.  Fluency in Mandarin will essential due to significant and frequent business interactions with counterparts in Greater China. You are a hands on self-starter with strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
