Investment Associate – Impact Fund

We are seeking an Investment Associate to join an expanding Impact Fund with an international presence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful investments in developing countries and drive positive change on a global scale.

Responsibilities
You will identify and source investment opportunities in developing countries through networking, market research, and industry events. Your role involves screening proposals, supporting deal leads, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment memos. You’ll assist with transaction documents and monitor portfolio companies, providing strategic support and maintaining strong relationships. Staying updated on market trends and conducting sector-specific research, you’ll offer insights to the investment team. Building relationships with key stakeholders, representing the company at events, and preparing impact reports are integral to your role.

Requirements
You have at least 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or consulting, ideally with experience investing in emerging markets. Transaction experience in Africa is advantageous, as is experience in climate resilience sectors. You possess top-tier analytic, strategic thinking, and project management skills, including financial modelling, valuation, and pricing analysis. An advanced degree in finance or business administration is preferred. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are essential for this position.
