IP Counsel – Tech & Gaming Industry, 5-7PQE
A leading global technology and entertainment company is seeking an IP Counsel to manage intellectual property matters across its gaming, digital entertainment, and technology platforms. This role involves advising on trademark strategy, copyright protection, licensing agreements, and brand enforcement, ensuring the company’s IP assets are well protected and aligned with business goals.
You will work closely with product, marketing, and legal teams to develop and implement IP protection strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include trademark portfolio management, handling disputes, overseeing IP aspects of commercial agreements, and advising on content creation, publishing, and licensing matters. Given the fast-evolving nature of the industry, the role requires a proactive approach to managing risk, enforcing rights, and navigating complex IP challenges.
Requirements:
Applicants should have a minimum of 5PQE in IP law from a leading law firm or in-house role, with strong experience in trademark strategy, copyright protection, and licensing agreements. A background in gaming, entertainment, or technology is a plus, particularly for those with a strong interest in the industry. The role requires a strategic mindset, the ability to navigate complex IP issues, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
A valid work visa in Singapore is required.
