IT Operations (VP), Financial Services
Kerry Consulting is currently partnering with a Financial Services organisation to hire for an IT Operations (VP).
You are responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, reliability, and security across all environments. This role involves managing incident response, maintenance activities, and infrastructure upgrades, while leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in network, server, and cloud infrastructure, as well as excellent leadership and problem-solving skills to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or IT related studies.
- At least 10 years demonstrated experience in managing enterprise-level infrastructure environments and leading operations teams.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization, and storage systems.
- Proven record in leading large-scale technology refreshes, migrations, and data center setup projects.
- Skilled in automation and scipting (Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
