      This pivotal role involves partnering directly with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to enable strategic IT priorities across the region. The individual will spearhead strategic initiatives from inception to completion, orchestrating cross-functional teams for seamless execution and overseeing the progress of key transformation initiatives to ensure alignment with goals and timelines. A critical component of the role is leading high-level meetings, including governance forums, steering committees, and workshops, to drive productive and actionable results, while also serving as a key point of contact for the CIO by communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to foster transparency and alignment. Furthermore, the role requires cultivating a culture of collaboration, agility, and ownership within the regional IT team and establishing strong relationships across departments to align IT initiatives with broader business objectives. Finally, the position is responsible for managing governance initiatives, tracking KPIs and milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays, and providing regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to the CIO to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

      You should possess at least five years of relevant experience, ideally including a background in consulting, which is highly desirable. Your experience should include supporting senior technology executives, preferably within a banking environment undergoing transformation, where you were responsible for monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements. Essential skills include strong organizational and multitasking abilities, enabling you to effectively manage competing priorities, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Crucially, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable confident engagement with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
