Responsibilities
This department enables the delivery of business processes, compliance, controls, and decision support through the deployment, support, and maintenance of technology applications and infrastructure. The Principal Lead Business Analyst for Selling Operations is responsible for delivering business analysis services, acting as a product owner and driving software enhancements. The scope of work varies from discreet business processes to large-scale projects. Key tasks include safety, health, and environment, performance and delivery, performance evaluation, analysis, collaboration, mentoring, and compliance with company Marketing policies and procedures. The role also involves conducting presentations of proposals or plans for company executives.
Requirements
The role requires a strong understanding of physical commodity trading, metals, and mining domains. You have an appreciation of CTRM systems (ideally Aspect or a similar CTRM). The candidate should have a good grasp of contract capture, contract confirmation, planning, scheduling, invoicing, and sales operations. They should also have experience in account treatments, month-end processes, and intercompany activities. Proficiency in English is desirable. The candidate should be self-motivated, hardworking, innovative, and proactive in finding solutions. They should have good communication, public speaking skills, leadership, and social process skills. The role is located in Singapore and requires global travel and work across time zones. Inter-continental travel is 4-6 weeks per year, which can be scheduled well in advance.
