Legal Counsel, Corporate

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a Singapore-headquartered organization to hire a Legal Counsel to join their legal team. This role will provide legal support across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Responsibilities:

The role involves reviewing and drafting a broad range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, SaaS contracts, vendor and contractor agreements and non-disclosure agreements. The individual will also lead and provide legal support on ad hoc transactions, joint ventures and strategic investments as they arise, while advising senior management on legal strategy, risk and compliance to ensure business decisions align with applicable regulatory requirements and best practices. In addition, the role includes enhancing and maintaining internal policy frameworks and corporate governance guidelines to mitigate legal and regulatory risks, as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to effectively manage and resolve legal and compliance matters.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you should be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of four years’ PQE in a general corporate practice, gained either in private practice or in an in-house environment. They should have strong experience advising on corporate and commercial matters and be comfortable working independently in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
