Legal Counsel – Financial Services, 3-6PQE

A renowned financial services firm, our client is now hiring a Legal Counsel to be part of its legal team which offers support on all in-house matters. The role offers a broad remit for lawyers wishing to transit to a commercial in-house role. Working independently in a legal team, duties will include providing support on daily business activities whilst advising on a broad spectrum of legal, corporate secretarial, data protection and regulatory compliance issues. Singapore qualified lawyers who have prior corporate, compliance or corporate secretarial experience preferred.

Successful candidates will possess:

* A minimum of 3PQE, gained in-house or in private practice, with prior experience advising on corporate, corporate secretarial or regulatory compliance matters.
* A recognised degree in Law, and preferably, Singapore Bar admission.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively manage key stakeholders and build internal relationships.
* The ability to work autonomously and within multi-functional teams.
