Legal Counsel (Platform)
About Our Client:
Our client is a tech platform within the finance industry. They are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join the team. The candidate will report to the Head of Legal. This position carries corporate secretarial and compliance responsibilities as well.
Responsibilities:
As a Legal Counsel, you will be advising on broad legal matters i.e. corporate agreements, compliance, cross-border investigations on the flow of business, and any disputes that may arise. You will work closely with the Head of Legal in maintaining and ensuring good process work flow. i.e. legal & compliance framework, as well as monitoring and mitigating any risks that might arise from transactions/through the course of business, along with some Corporate Secretarial responsibilities.
Requirements:
You are a Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. Someone with strong commercial acumen, and who is driven and willing to work in a growing company with fluidity on job scope. Willing to take on some corporate secretarial and compliance responsibilities as this is relatively new set-up and team is lean.
