We are seeking an experienced Legal Director to join a prestigious institution in a key leadership role. As the head of the legal team, you will oversee all legal matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, litigation, and intellectual property. In your capacity as Corporate Secretary, you will manage Board of Trustees meetings, ensure compliance with corporate bylaws, and advise on governance practices and day-to-day business issues. You will also take charge of risk management processes, assist in negotiating key agreements, and foster strong relationships with external counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a recognized law degree and be admitted to the Singapore Bar. You will have over 10 years of experience as a senior legal professional, with several years in a leadership role. Expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and corporate law is essential, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective engagement with senior executives, and external partners. You must also demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex legal issues and provide clear, strategic legal advice.
