Legal Executive (1 year contract)

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a Regional Company looking to hire a legal executive to their Singapore legal team on a contract basis as a result of increase in adhoc projects within the organization. This is a perfect opportunity for a junior lawyer who is keen to transit into an in-house role with great mentorship.

Responsibilities 

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing commodity trading contracts covering a wide range of products.  You will also review facility letters, agreements and security documents. You will also gain exposure to a broad range of corporate commercial agreements such as NDAs, third party service level agreements, employment agreements etc. You will also conduct legal research, draft documents, and assist with ancillary legal matters as required by the business.

Requirements 

In order to succeed in this role, you should be qualified to practise law in Singapore and at least 2 years PQE. Prior experience in the corporate commercial space will be helpful for this role. An interest in the Oil & Gas / Shipping sector will have an advantage.
