Description
This is a fast-growing energy trading business with ambitions to expand its LNG footprint in Asia. As part of that growth, the company has partnered with Kerry Consulting to appoint a Risk Analyst to be based in Singapore. This is a newly created position that will play a pivotal role in supporting the trading team while ensuring robust risk and operational controls.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Department the Risk Analyst will be responsible for trade capture, daily P&L and risk exposure reporting. The role also includes setting up and managing pricing curves and monitoring trading limits. You will act as a key point of contact between trading, operations, finance, and IT, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while continuously seeking process improvements. The Middle Officer will also contribute to the roll-out of new trading strategies or products and be actively involved in enhancing ETRM systems.

Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a degree in a numerate or finance-related discipline. You bring 3-5 years of experience in a Middle Office, Risk, or Trading Analyst capacity, ideally within an LNG or broader energy trading environment. Experience in oil trading or audit of trading firms (e.g. Big 4) is also relevant. You are technically competent, familiar with ETRM systems, and have a solid understanding of middle and back office processes.
