Nutrition Communication Assistant Manager – Global MNC

Our client, a well-known global nutritional ingredients company is expanding their Nutrition Communication team in Singapore and is hiring for an Assistant Manager to support their business in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Team Lead, you will be responsible for effectively communicating the science behind the ingredients to a range of audiences, including customers, health professionals, and government authorities. You will simplify complex scientific information and translate it into accessible formats such as factsheets, visuals and presentations. The position involves working closely with the global Nutrition Communication team and other departments like Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and R&D. You will also get to present at conferences, engage with authorities and customers, and actively participate in discussions about the science of ingredients.

Requirements

Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field with 4-7 years of relevant working experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, capable of tailoring and presenting scientific information in both layman’s terms and scientific language, depending on the audience. To be successful in this role, you are proactive, open to guidance, have good interpersonal skills and a team player. Proficiency in other Asian language(s) besides English would be advantageous. You are also willing to travel.
