    About Our Client

    Our client is a European-headquartered renewables firm that was established back in the early 2000’s. They are a key player in the global energy transition movement, and provide Fortunte 500 companies with decarbonization and environmental impact solutions. They are growing a presence outside of Europe and have identified Singapore as their Regional HQ as they further their footprint into APAC.

    This Role

    As the firm’s pioneer Recruiter based in APAC, you will oversee their mid-term expansion plans across Singapore, Japan, and China. Additional regional markets may be added depending on where they open their future offices too. You will report directly to the Global TA Lead in Europe, and help with establishing culturally appropriate recruitment processes for the Asia region. You will also help with building an expert network of niche talent within the renewable energy space (solar, wind, carbon etc.) to aid them in workforce planning and succession planning. You will also be the go-to expert on niche hiring and will work with search partners on senior regional mandates. You also take the lead on region-wide strategic recruitment projects.

    What Makes You Successful

    You should possess at least 5-7 years of recruitment experience and have hired across a wide spectrum of roles including Finance, IT, Audit, HR, Legal, Marketing, and other Corporate Functions. Prior experience in the Renewables or Sustainability industries would be helpful but not a pre-requisite. You must, however, have a proven track record of being hands-on in searches from sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and on-boarding. A positive can-do attitude & a passion for building recruitment structures from scratch is certainly a must-have.
