Regional Accountant (APAC)

Our client is a fast-growing consumer goods multinational with a strong regional presence and a dynamic team culture. As part of their continued growth, a newly created Regional Accountant position has been made available.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the regional finance team, you will be responsible for financial accounting, controlling, and statutory reporting in compliance with Group policies and international accounting standards. You will support external audits, regional tax compliance, and assist in monthly management reporting, consolidation, and Group-level deliverables. You will also research and resolve technical accounting issues, recommend solutions aligned with evolving standards, and collaborate with local tax agents on regional income tax matters. Additionally, you will help strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements through cross-functional projects and technology initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have more than 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting. Prior Big 4 audit experience is a plus. You should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be highly organized with a high degree of professionalism and discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
