    This is a newly created position for the Head of HR Shared Services, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic HR leader to shape and drive the HR SSC function across our Asia markets, including Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the HR Service delivery model, fostering the growth initiatives in the region.

    This role is responsible for delivering high-quality HR services, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across HR processes. Oversee the day-to-day operations of HR Shared Services, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of HR services, including payroll, benefits administration, employee onboarding, and HR inquiries. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of HR services. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR Shared Services team to deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across the Asia markets, including Singapore, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR-related legislation. Manage risks associated with HR processes and implement appropriate controls.

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices in a multi-country environment. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM ) preferred.

    Minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience in HR delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within HR Shared Services or a similar function. Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, particularly in Malaysia and Singapore. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with a focus on employee development and performance management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
