Regional Payroll Specialist – Private Equity Firm

Our client is an Asian private equity firm with core businesses in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Established almost 40 years ago, they are today one of the world’s forerunners in the alternative asset management scene. A role has recently opened up for a Regional Payroll Specialist to join them in supporting their regional employees across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
As the Regional Payroll Specialist, you will be supporting payroll for 120 employees based across Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Greater China. You will work with a payroll vendor in ensuring timely and accurate submission and disbursement of pay across the region; in addition, you will also work with a separate benefits provider in managing the annual insurance renewal process and administrating pension plans. As part of assisting with employer tax filings – both annual and monthly – you will also gain in-depth exposure to tax regulations across the region.
Requirements
You should be degree-qualified with at least 5 years of experience in a payroll function. Prior experience in processing Singapore payroll is a must – while any additional payroll coverage across Australia, Japan, and/or Greater China would be advantageous. You should also possess strong Excel skills and an attention to detail / thoroughness.
