Sales Manager (Singapore) – Food Ingredients
Description
Our client, a progressive regional chemical distributor, is seeking a Sales Manager who is experienced in specialty food ingredients to lead and grow their Life Sciences segment in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will strategize and grow the company’s business by reviewing the product portfolio and supplier list and drive strategies to achieve sales targets and expand business with new and existing customers. You will be responsible for end-to-end sales process, from identifying leads to following up closely with customers. You will have 1 team member reporting in to you.
Requirements
Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Food Science or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in a similar industry or a technical background would be an advantage. Candidates from a principal (supplier) background with commercial experience are welcome to apply. To be successful in this role, you are proactive, inquisitive, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
