Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)
We are partnering a Sustainability company focused on lowering carbon emissions and footprint – they have established their platform globally and are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Cloud individual to support new projects which meets sustainability objectives.
Responsibilities
You are tasked to oversee the company’s cloud computing strategy, implementing cloud migration strategies and recommending suitable application migration approaches. You will stay at the top of upcoming Cloud technologies, trends, calculate technology readiness, ensure SLAs are met and continuously expand the Cloud infrastructure on Azure. This is an independent contributor role which requires you to act as a technical subject matter expert and demonstrate industry best practices.
Requirements
- You have 4+ years of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer with track record in designing and architecture on Azure/ AWScloud.
- Prior experience in a SAAS based environment with platform consumption via external users.
- Background understanding in Cloud based Networking, Security, Storage, etc.
- Prior experience using scripting languages like Python, Powershell
- Professional Cloud certifications such as AWS, Microsoft Azure a strong advantage
- You have excellent communication skills and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
