    Kerry Consulting is currently partnering with a US listed Manufacturing company that is looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel APAC. Our client is an established player in their industry with more than 50 years of experience and operating in more than 13 countries within the APAC regon. This role will report directly to the Group General Counsel.

    Responsibilities

    As a Senior Legal Counsel for the APAC region, you will take an active approach in providing strategic legal advice to the senior management and help to drive the business forward. You will assist to review high value commercial contracts and provide legal support on any employment and litigation matters. You are also responsible for managing the legal budget for the APAC region and take an active approach in managing and engaging external counsels support.

    Apart from Legal, you will also be responsible for looking after Compliance matters for the business across the APAC region. This includes but not limited to Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions, AML and Investigations.

    Requirements

    You should be a qualified lawyer with minimally 10 years PQE and experience working as an in-house legal counsel positions. Candidates with regional exposure and experience dealing with employment matters will have an advantage in this role.
