Senior VP, Business Development (Market Leader in Storage & Terminalling)
Our client is a renowned market leader in the Storage & Terminalling industry. Due to a restructuring, we are currently in the market for a Singapore-based Senior VP, Business Development role to drive the New Energies transformation journey for the region.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional President who sits in Singapore, this is a regional role and will be a member of the regional management team, as well as a member of the global business development leadership team, and will be contributing to the development of the regional and global organization strategy, policies and plans. Energy transition focus areas and new businesses for growth will be in CO2 sequestration and storage, low carbon fuels, hydrogen etc. Leading a team of 6-8 business developers who are based regionally, you will develop and implement the growth and BD plans, policies and systems for the region. In cooperation with the Managing Directors and Commercial Leaders of the local operating companies, initiate and develop new business development projects to ensure sustainable commercial business results for the region, now and in the future, in terms of sales and customer service.
RequirementsÂ
You will have proven experience to identify, develop and drive the complete Business Development plan through expansion in existing and new markets and targeted acquisitions in Asia Pacific region. This will also involve identifying new growth opportunities, formulating, implementing and monitoring clear action plans and further optimise existing business practices, as well as participating in the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and divestment projects in the region. Exposure in new energy transition areas such as Hydrogen, CO2 infastructure, low carbon fuels and feedstocks as well as long duration energy storage will be highly regarded. Talents with proven leadership capabilities with the potential to step up and take on bigger responsibilities in the longer run will be highly regarded.
