Description
This is best described as an integrated energy player, with Singapore as a key trading and commercial location. Due to internal mobility, there is now an opportunity for a Senior Trade Settlements Officer to join a high performing team.
Role
Reporting to the Team Lead / Finance Manager, the Trade Settlements Officer will be supporting the Commercial Team in all aspects of operations including trade validation, reconciling of trades across systems, tracking of invoices, settlements, AP/AR reporting and be involved in systems testing. Due to continuous business and system improvement initiatives, the officer will be expected to be a key contributor to these causes.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in a Finance/Accounting/ Business/ Engineering discipline, with minimum 5 years’ work experience in a similar capacity within commodities trading. Candidates with prior oil experience will have a distinct advantage. You will be described as meticulous, proactive, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
