We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an expert in ESG Reporting & Disclosure. You will be part of a high-calibre team with the opportunity to make a significant impact on Singapore’s sustainability and green finance landscape, supporting development in the financial regulatory space.
Responsibilities
This role focuses on addressing climate change and environmental risks through financial sector initiatives. You’ll join a team implementing consistent climate and sustainability disclosures globally. Key areas include developing disclosure standards for companies and investment products, working on digital reporting solutions, and creating guidelines for ESG rating providers. The position involves shaping global regulatory efforts, supporting domestic implementation of sustainability practices, and contributing to thought leadership in sustainable finance. Your work will help financial institutions manage environmental risks and align with climate transition goals. This role is crucial in building a financial landscape that supports the global shift towards a green economy.
Requirements
You are degree-qualified (i.e legal, economics, accountancy, finance etc.) and have at least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in sustainability and financial services. The ideal candidate understands how sustainability integrates into global financial decision-making and is knowledgeable about ESG regulatory development. Hands-on experience with ESG initiatives, frameworks, and disclosures is essential (eg. ISSB, TCFD, GRI). Strategic thinking, excellent writing, analytical and project management skills is crucial. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders. A strong network in ESG and specialised certification are advantageous.
